From healthy to decadent, these gluten-free sweet treats will have you falling for autumn!

Soon after the “Back to School” sales hit the mall, I start longing for the other signs of fall. Pumpkin-spice-flavored lattes, caramel apples, pumpkin bread… Mmmmm. For those who need or want to go gluten free, I’ve scoured the Interwebs for some easy, delicious fall treats.

Late last summer, I got a craving for a quick apple treat. I found a recipe for an apple crisp in a mug and tweaked this recipe to create Gluten-Free Apple Crisp in a Mug. I subbed regular flour and oats for GF oat flour and GF oats and butter for coconut oil.

The gluten-free oat flour and oats I use are from Bob’s Red Mill. You can find them on Amazon or in most grocery stores. If you can’t have any gluten, be sure to get GF oats. Regular oats may be cross contaminated. Here is a post with GF baking tips and more about our family’s gluten-free journey.

My lovely Aunt Ann brought a three pound bag of raw pecans from West Texas on her last visit with my mom, and my generous mom shared them with me.

I could use some of them in these No Bake Pumpkin cheesecake bites from Beauty and the Foodie.

Pecans costar in these Pumpkin Pecan Pie Bars from Texan Erin Baking. I find myself saving a lot of desserts from Texan Erin Baking. Her Swedish Apple Pie also made my list.

These bars from My Whole Food Life are gluten free, dairy free and vegan AND they look ah-mazing. Pecans come in handy in this dessert, too! Try these No Bake Pumpkin creme bars.

These pumpkin spice mini muffins from Delightful Adventures also are GF and vegan and look pretty simple to stir up.

For those in the know in the GF recipe world, Nicole at Gluten Free on a Shoestring is THE source for wonderful baked goods. Last Thanksgiving, my GF girl asked that we include Nicole’s lemon pound cake on the dessert table with the pumpkin and pecan pies. I can’t wait to try her easy Gluten-free apple dumplings.

I’ve pinned many recipes (a lot of them main dishes) from Kristin at Iowa Girl Eats. Here’s her Caramel Apple crisp with easy caramel sauce.

Muffins with a layer of caramel and apples? Yes, please. Try these GF/Vegan apple upside down muffins from Erin Sands.

What do you get when you mix a pie with cookie bars? Food Fanatic offers these gluten-free apple pie bars.

What does my gluten-free girl miss more than anything? Fluffy glazed doughnuts and their variations. I really want to try these GF baked apple fritters from Officially Gluten Free because they look delish AND they’re robed in glaze.
